This is a Wheel of Life Painted thangka. This beautiful painting is done in a red cotton canvas. This painting is hand painted by our Nepalese artist.

The Wheel of Life (Bhavachakra), a symbolic representation of samsara, the cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth. At the center are the three poisons: ignorance (pig), attachment (bird), and aversion (snake). The outer ring illustrates the twelve links of dependent origination, and the segments show the six realms of existence. Yama, the Lord of Death, holds the wheel, symbolizing impermanence. The Buddha is seen pointing to the moon, indicating the path to liberation.

All paintings are hand drawn on primed cotton canvas using mineral and vegetable pigments.
A lot of hard work and dedication is required for thangka painting. The work duration ranges between one month to one and half year per painting depending upon the details.

Every painting is nicely packed with hand made lokta paper and is put inside a strong non bendable PVC Pipes for expedition.

Size : 15.5" H x 12.5" W approx.
