Kids Markets Brings Pop-Up Marketplace to Rocklin,CA This October
September 22, 2026The popular children's marketplace franchise, Kids Markets, is officially setting up shop in Rocklin this fall.
The upcoming market is scheduled for Friday, October 16, 2026. The event will run from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM PDT, offering an evening of shopping and activities for the whole family.
Kids Markets provides a unique platform for children to buy and sell items, fostering creativity and business skills in a supportive environment. In this years Kids Market Myraa is representing NepaCrafts with felt products.

September 3, 2026On September 3, we sent our contribution to both the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund and the Lions Club of Nepal Paradise.
This included 3% of our total sales from the week.

Supporting Communities Affected by the Recent Flash Floods in Nepal
August 27, 2026On August 26, a sudden and devastating flash flood swept down the Bhote Koshi River into Nepal's Rasuwa district, severely affecting communities in Timure, Syabrubesi, and surrounding areas. The flood caused extensive damage to homes, roads, bridges, businesses, and other infrastructure, while families and communities continue to face the uncertainty and loss left in its wake.
The flooding also affected areas further downstream along the Trishuli River, with authorities issuing alerts in parts of Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, and Chitwan. Search and rescue efforts are continuing as authorities work to reach affected communities and account for those still missing.
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy, and with the families, rescuers, and communities facing this difficult time.
How We Are Helping
As a small way of helping, we are working with the Lions Club of Nepal Paradise to support flood relief efforts. We will be donating 3% of our total sales this week toward relief and recovery for those affected.
We have also created a Nepal Flood Relief donation option for anyone who would like to contribute directly. 100% of the proceeds from this donation product will go toward flood relief efforts.
There is no physical product associated with the donation, and those who wish to contribute more can also add a tip at checkout, with 100% of tips going toward the relief fund.
We know that no single contribution can undo what has happened, but we hope that, together, we can offer some support to families and communities as they begin the long road to recovery.

About Thangka Paintings
Thangka Paintings are a form of Tibetan Buddhist art depicting Buddhist deities. Thangka paintings have various uses but are mostly used for the means of gaining merits during meditation, rituals and ceremonies. Thangka paintings are made in specific proportions which can range from a foot long to a few meters high.
It is said that the deities can inhabit the paintings that are visually beautiful to look at. The highest-ranking priests are said to be the ones that make the most beautiful paintings, and the ones in which the deities reside.
