Golden Green Tara on Lotus Thangka Painting

This is a Green Tara thangka. The soft colors used in this thangka along with fine intricate linings of drawing make this thangka very peaceful.

Green Tara, a revered figure in Buddhism, symbolizes compassion, action, and protection. Known as the "Mother of Liberation," she is often depicted in a posture of readiness to swiftly aid those in need, embodying the dynamic aspect of compassion in action.

All paintings are hand drawn on primed cotton canvas using mineral and vegetable pigments.
The work duration ranges between one month to one and half year per painting depending upon the details.

Every painting is nicely packed with hand made lokta paper and is put inside a strong non bendable PVC Pipes for expedition.
