White Tara Printed Lokta Paper Wall Hanging

This is a beautiful wall hanging handmade in Nepal. The bright and colorful picture of White Tara is printed in the Himalayan lokta paper. To give it a traditional and Nepalese look, Bamboo sticks are attached to both side of the wall hanging. Bamboo sticks also balance and hold the paper perfectly.

Tara is a female deity in Buddhist Pantheon. She is believed to protect human beings while they are crossing the ocean of existence. She is regarded as Sapta Lochana or Seven eyed Tara. The practice of White Tara is basically performed for healing purpose.
