Vertical Prayer Flags also known as Darchog or Darchor(In Tibetan) or Pole Prayer Flags are long rectangular 5 color flags which are tied vertically on a pole, flagpole or flagstaff. Made in various fabrics as Cotton, Polyester or Silk, these vertical ones are tied to a pole using the cord sewn at the edges of the fabric.

Darchog are commonly planted in the ground, mountains, cairns, and on rooftops, and are iconographically and symbolically related to the Dhwaja or Victory Flag.
