Plain Meditation Tingsha Cymbal Golden
This is a high-quality plain meditation cymbal, also known as a tingsha. Tingshas consist of two small metal cymbals connected by a leather strap. They are traditionally used by Tibetan practitioners during prayers, rituals, and ceremonies. When struck together, the cymbals create a clear, high-pitched tone. Their thickness allows them to produce a long, resonant bell-like sound.
Tingshas are often played alongside singing bowls and other instruments during meditation, sound healing, therapy, and musical sessions. While widely used in yoga studios, meditation spaces, and healing centers, tingshas hold deep significance as sacred ritual objects.
These cymbals are crafted from seven metals, each symbolizing a planetary influence:
• Gold - the Sun
• Silver - the Moon
• Mercury - Mercury
• Copper - Venus
• Iron - Mars
• Tin - Jupiter
• Lead - Saturn
Size: 3" D
