21 Tara Set Partly Goldplated Copper Statue 9" H
This set of 21 Tara statues, is partly gold plated and handcrafted by skilled artisans of Lalitpur, a city renowned for its rich artistic heritage. Every detail of this statue reflects generations of craftsmanship passed down through families who have preserved Nepal's sacred artistic traditions.
Crafted from high-quality copper and adorned with delicate gold plating on key features, this set highlights the intricate detailing and spiritual grace of every Tara. The artisans have poured generations of devotion and craftsmanship into these sacred pieces, making them ideal for your altar, meditation space, or as a meaningful gift for a practitioner.
The 21 Taras represent the many forms of Tara's enlightened activity. Each manifestation is invoked to overcome specific fears, obstacles, and challenges - from physical dangers and illness to mental suffering and spiritual hindrances. Tara appears in 21 beautiful and powerful forms, each linked to a special color and energy, all brought to life in this sacred statue. According to tantric wisdom, our human body holds twenty-one pairs of subtle knots that can block the flow of our inner energy. Through practice and dedication, we slowly release these knots, each time gaining deeper insight and experience along our spiritual journey. When all 21 knots have been released, one attains complete enlightenment - the state of Buddhahood.
The 21 forms of Tara are:
Nyurma Pamo (Red Tara), Loter Yangchenma (White Tara), Sonam Tobche (Golden Tara), Tsugtor Namgyalma (Golden Tara), Wangdu Rigje Lhamo (Red Tara), Jigje Chenmo (Dark Red Tara), Zhengyi Mithumba (Dark Blue Tara), Zhengyi Migyalma (Dark Red Tara), Sengdeng Nagchi (Emerald Green Tara), Jigten Sumle Gyalma (Red Tara), Phagma Norter Drolma (Orange Tara), Tashi Donje (Golden Yellow Tara), Yulle Gyalma (Dark Red Tara), Thronyer Chen (Tara of the dark rain-cloud hue), Rabzhima (White Tara holding a blue lotus), Rigngag Tobjom, Pagme Nonma, Maja Chenmo, Dugkarmo, Rito Loma Jonma, and Lhamo Ozer Chenma (White Tara with a blue lotus and golden fish).
