The Dhyangro is a frame drum played by Shamans or Jhakri from an ethnic group of Nepal and by the Tibetan Buddhist musicians. The frame drum can either be single or double headed. The latter ones are said to have a male and a female side.

The drum is equipped with jingles. Its head is made of animal skin and is played with a curved cane during traditional shamanic ceremonies and some Buddhist occasions. Unlike most frame drums, the dhyangro usually has a handle.
