This 925 Silver Tibetan Ghau is a finely handcrafted traditional prayer box made from sterling silver and enhanced with selective gold plating. It features intricate Double Dorjee and Eight Auspicious Symbols carvings, accented with turquoise and coral inlays.

A Tibetan Ghau is a portable shrine traditionally used to hold sacred images, relics, mantras, or other blessed objects. It is carried close to the body as an expression of devotion and as a personal reminder of one's spiritual practice.

The Double Dorjee (Vishva Vajra) represents stability, indestructibility, and the unshakable nature of enlightened wisdom. Its four vajras extending in the cardinal directions can also be understood as a symbol of spiritual stability and protection. The Eight Auspicious Symbols, known as Ashtamangala, represent important Buddhist principles including protection, purity, prosperity, interdependence, victory over obstacles, and the spreading of the Buddha's teachings.

Turquoise and coral have a long-standing place in Tibetan and Himalayan decorative and religious arts. Turquoise is traditionally associated with protection and good fortune, while coral is valued for its vibrant color and associations with vitality and strength.
