This White Tara Thangka is hand-drawn on primed cotton canvas using natural mineral and vegetable pigments, staying true to traditional Himalayan thangka techniques. Depending on the complexity and fine detailing, each piece takes between one month to one and a half years to complete.

White Tara, known as the embodiment of maternal compassion and long life, is a revered female Bodhisattva in Tibetan Buddhism. She is depicted with seven eyes-on her hands, feet, and forehead-symbolizing her all-seeing awareness and her ability to perceive the suffering of all beings. Her white color represents purity, serenity, and transcendent wisdom.

Spiritual Importance:

White Tara is widely invoked for healing, longevity, and protection from physical and emotional suffering. Practitioners turn to her for strength during illness, guidance through life's challenges, and support in deepening their meditation and compassion. Her presence is especially beneficial for nurturing inner peace, overcoming fear, and extending one's life and vitality in service of spiritual practice.

This thangka serves as a source of comfort, renewal, and spiritual inspiration, whether used in daily meditation or as a sacred piece within one's home.

Every painting is carefully wrapped in handmade Lokta paper and secured in a durable, non-bendable PVC pipe to ensure safe delivery.

Size : 35" H x 24.5" W approx.
