Tibetan Garuda Wall Hanging Mask

1 review   |

This is a unique wall hanging brass mask of Tibetan Garuda. The garuda is shown as eating an evil snake. This mask is made using the lost wax technique. The various designs and intricate pattern on this mask makes it very special.

Specially suitable for Tibetan home decor, this mask can be found in many entrances of Hindu temples too.

Size: 8"L x 11"B x 3" H
Weight: 805 grams approx.

An impressive thing, lots of detail and beautifully finished. It hangs from one point, so if I were to put it on a door I don۪t know how I۪d keep it from sliding around. It has small holes in the eyes, nose and mouth; I wonder how it would look with a tiny LED bulb behind it. Anyway it۪s a delight. Wherever it goes will be a place where I can see and enjoy it every day.
