Shakyamuni Buddha with Chenrezig & Vairocana Thangka Painting
This hand-painted thangka depicts a sacred triad: Shakyamuni Buddha at the center, Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) on the left and Vairocana Buddha on the right. Hand-painted by skilled Nepali artists on canvas, using traditional mineral and vegetable pigments, preserving the integrity of centuries-old Himalayan artistic traditions. With fine attention to detail and symbolic accuracy, each painting takes anywhere from one month to over a year to complete, depending on its complexity.
Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical founder of Buddhism, is depicted in Bhumisparsha Mudra, symbolizing his enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. To his left is Chenrezig, the four-armed Bodhisattva of Compassion, holding a lotus, crystal mala, and wish-fulfilling jewel-embodying boundless love. On the right sits Vairocana, the primordial Buddha who represents universal truth and the radiant clarity of the dharmakaya.
This composition symbolizes the path of wisdom, compassion, and awakening. Shakyamuni represents the foundation of all Buddhist practice-enlightenment through discipline and realization. Chenrezig offers the heart-centered energy of compassion, while Vairocana reflects ultimate wisdom and the pure, formless nature of reality.
Every painting is nicely packed with hand made lokta paper and is put inside a strong non bendable PVC Pipes for expedition.
