This Karma Kagyu Refuge Tree Thangka Painting, is a profoundly symbolic and visually rich masterpiece. Meticulously hand-painted on cotton canvas by Nepali artists with traditional mineral and vegetable pigments, preserving the integrity of centuries-old Himalayan artistic traditions. With fine attention to detail and symbolic accuracy, each painting takes anywhere from one month to over a year to complete, depending on its complexity.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Refuge Tree represents the Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and Three Roots (Lama, Yidam, and Dakini). Practicing in front of this thangka helps to cultivate devotion, reinforce one's connection to the enlightened lineage, and deepen commitment to the spiritual path. The inclusion of Chenrezig and Chakrasambhava adds the energy of boundless compassion and transformative wisdom, while Shakyamuni Buddha embodies the historical root of all Buddhist teachings.

At the heart of the thangka sits "Vajradhara", the primordial Buddha in Tibetan Buddhism, embodies the unity of wisdom and compassion, representing the ultimate truth and essence of enlightenment. Radiating around this sacred tree are key enlightened beings including Shakyamuni Buddha, Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara)-the embodiment of compassion, and Chakrasambhava (Chakrasamvara)-the powerful tantric deity representing transformation and union. The tree, flourishing from a vast lotus throne, symbolically connects the enlightened beings, teachings, and community (sangha) in a single sacred mandala of refuge.

Every painting is nicely packed with hand made lokta paper and is put inside a strong non bendable PVC Pipes for expedition.
