This is a beautiful hand carved and painted statue of Temple lion. Temple lion is a symbol of guardian and protector. Found in front of most of the Hindu temple's entrance, these pair of lions are guardian to the deities. Most of the temples in Nepal have various sculptures of animals as guardians or gatekeepers. They are placed as per their respective powers.
These temple lion are made of clay and painted with Orange, Golden, Red and Green color. These lion pair looks amazing and suitable for decorative purpose.
