Shakyamuni Buddha with 34 Buddha Brocade Thangka Painting
This thangka is skillfully hand-painted using traditional mineral and vegetable pigments, and is rich in detail and spiritual symbolism. At the center sits Shakyamuni Buddha, the historical Buddha who attained enlightenment under the Bodhi tree. Depicted in classic iconography, he is seated in the lotus position on a multicolored lotus throne, with his right hand in the earth-touching mudra , a gesture that calls the Earth to witness his enlightenment and his left hand resting in meditation, holding an alms bowl.
Surrounding the central figure are 34 Buddhas, each depicted in distinct mudras and seated postures that convey specific enlightened qualities. These mudras represent various aspects of the Buddha's activity and realization. Together, they form a visual expression of the transformative path, guiding practitioners through purification, wisdom, and compassion.
The painting is framed in a luxurious maroon brocade adorned with elegant floral motifs, adding to its visual beauty and reverent atmosphere.
This thangka is ideal for meditation spaces, altars, or as a devotional gift that inspires inner strength and spiritual awakening.
Every painting is nicely packed with hand made lokta paper and is put inside a strong non bendable PVC Pipes for expedition.
