Shanti Prajapati is a 35 year old woman who lives in Thimi, a historic city near Kathmandu Nepal. She is a very cheerful person and always has a smile to greet everyone around her. She is a mother of 2 children and enjoys being with her kids. Due to the financial constrains in the family, she decided to explore her crafting skills and earn money with her skills.
“After I became a mother, I realized that I needed to save some money for the future of my children. But our financial condition was so poor that we couldn’t save anything. Then I convinced my family about working in order to save little amount for our children.”
Shanti has got a very supportive family. They agreed that she could work outside. After finishing all the household activities in the morning, Shanti joins the team at our production house. She is specialized in treating,sanding and varnishing wooden incense burner and decorative wooden box. She is an excellent polisher and detailer of wooden products. Her work speaks volumes about her skills.
