This is 10 sheets of cotton prayer flags handmade in Nepal. The prayer flag is printed with Wind Horse and its associate mantras. The four corners of prayer flags are printed with Tibetan mantra text.

The Tibetan word for prayer flag is "Lung ta", meaning, "wind Horse". When wind blows (expressing the quality and nature of mind) the sacred prayer flag flaps in the breeze.

The prayers written on the flag are carried by the wind, and your own mind to all as a blessing. By viewing the flags you are reminded to pray for the welfare of people, and to be mindful of the motivation to be kind, compassionate, and stay joyful throughout the day.

I recommend this product
Lots of Positives...a little negative

I ordered a couple of strands of “cotton” windhorse prayer flags. The process was great... it was really neat to see the DHL shipping updates as these made there way from Kathmandu to Leipzig and on to the US. Upon arrival, the flags look great, the prints are crisp and clear, the colors are bright. They look like everything you would want out of prayer flags. The issue I have is that i specifically ordered the cotton flags over the synthetic flags so that when all of the prayers were spent I could (as recommended by monastics) burn the flags without causing toxic smoke. While the flags themselves are nice cotton, the rope that they hang on seems to be nylon which is a real bummer. I guess when it is time to dispose of them I will have to cut the flags off of the rope to burn the flags and throw the rope away which is certainly not the end of the world but it kind of defeats the purpose of cotton flags
