Hand Painted Gold Chenrezig Statue 5.5" H

Chenrezig is seated in a Single Lotus, symbolizing compassion as the God of Compassion.

This is a beautifully crafted Gold-plated Chenrezig Statue, hand-painted by our artist Meenu Shakya. The robe of the statue features a unique embossed painting style, with embossed flowers and borders. The two hands of Chenrezig are folded in the Namaste posture, while the other two hands hold a lotus and garland in an infinite loop close to the shoulders. The crown adorns the head and flows down to the neckline, complemented by large floral earrings that elongate down the shoulders.

Chenrezig, with four arms, represents the Buddha of infinite compassion, with each arm signifying one of the four immeasurable attitudes of love, compassion, equanimity, and joy.

Some precautions you should keep in mind when cleaning gold statues.
• In the case of gold painted on face, do not touch or not to clean with cold water. Gently wipe the dust with soft cotton.
• Do not use scrubbing cloths that are highly abrasive. Similarly, avoid using steel wool or metal bristled brushes as they will leave scratches on the surface of the Statue.
• Try avoiding touching gold statues too much. Oil from your hands can hasten the tarnishing process and reduce the life of your gold objects.
