50" High Magnificent Thousand Armed Avalokiteshvara Gold Plated Statue

This is a artistically beautiful gold plated Avalokiteshvara statue handmade in Nepal. This statue is made by the fourth generation artist who has invested a huge amount of talent and time making this intricately carved and skillfully made statue.

Avalokiteshvara, also referred to as The One who hears the Cries of the World – is the Bodhisattva of Compassion. He is seen as the Protector of Tibet and his mantra is the most famous Tibetan mantra.

His name in Tibetan is Chenrezig and long time ago he made the strong vow not to return to nirvana until he had liberated all sentient beings and freed them from suffering. The 1000 arms symbolized that the deity can work faster to help all sentient beings.
