Majestic Handpainted Blue Shakyamuni Buddha Statue

This is a copper statue of Shakyamuni Buddha hand painted in Nepal. The blue color painted in the statue looks so peaceful. This statue is a master craftsman's work. With the intricate carving of within the robe of the Buddha, the face and body of the statue is painted with blue.

Shakyamuni Buddha Statue is seated in Dhyana Asana or Meditative Pose, also called Padmasana. In this position, the legs are crossed, closely locked with the soles of both feet visible. Lord Buddha is wearing a detailed carved monastic robe incised with floral motifs and eight auspicious symbol.
