A very unique and handmade face of wrathful deity Mahakala is handmade in Nepal by Nepalese Artist. The face of Mahakala is carved beautifully and attached to the Buddhist ritual Chukor.

According to Hinduism, Mahakala is a manifestation of Shiva. Mahakala also appears as a protector deity known as a dharmapala in Vajrayana Buddhism, particularly most Tibetan traditions.

Mahakala is a protector of religious law. He is always depicted as an extremely fierce and terrifying deity. His purpose is to help in overcoming negative obstacles on the path to enlightenment. He appears evil, like a demon, but functions more like a guardian angel. Mahakala is depicted in a variety of different ways, sometimes with six arms, other times with two.

This mahakala wall hanging can be placed in your altar room and living room or even at the entry point to remove and avoid negative energies to enter your home.
