This Thangka of Chenrezig is a Handpainted Tibetan Thangka painting on a cotton canvas. The paint used is traditionally derived from the extracts of minerals and vegetable pigments. Some exquisite thangka paintings are also painted using pure gold dust to give them an extra fine shiny look.

This practice develops our ability to have an open heart and love through meditation on the deity of Chenrezig. The mantra of Chenrezig is the most widely recited mantra in the world of Tibetan Buddhism and has great power for developing a good heart.
All paintings are hand drawn on primed cotton canvas using mineral and vegetable pigments along with 24 carat pure gold.
The work duration ranges between one month to one and half year per painting depending upon the details.
Every painting is nicely packed with hand made lokta paper and is put inside a strong non bendable PVC Pipes for expedition.
We also offer Silk Brocade Framing for the Thangka, please let us know if you would like to have Brocade on this Painting. There will be an additional cost for the type of Brocade you would choose to frame for this painting. Please let us know on time before we ship your painting.
